Hi there!
I just wanted to let you all know about some new great news for me, and you!! Today, I got invited officially into the Corning Classic event, as well, the CN Canadian Women’s Open has already invited me. I am so excited and happy to be there and I hope to be playing in many more. But this is a great start! Thank you to all of you that have prayed and thought great thoughts about me getting into events this year! I need to play in atleast 10 events this year…and I know that it will happen because of me and everyone else believing it so!
Looking forward to playing in the next Monday qualifier at Ko ‘Olina. I played a practice round today and the course is in great shape! Many birdies to follow.
Take care and talk to you soon! Love AJ

Hello everyone, or shall I say, Aloha!!
I am on the island of Oahu right now as it is the start of the LPGA season. It is very nice over here at Turtle Bay…that is if you like sunshine with lots of wind! ha ha Actually it is very nice and I am enjoying finally getting to wear shorts everyday. I am working on my golfer tan lines as well!
I played in the first Monday qualifier of the year, for the SBS Open. I shot 73, one over, but missed by a few shots. There were 17 of us playing for 2 spots and a couple other girls managed a couple of 69s. I played well but just hit a few errant shots in the wind. I was pleased with myself though and enjoyed the round of golf! My friend, Danny Sharp, caddied for me and we had lots of good laughs. He caddies for Lorie Kane on a regular basis so it was very nice of him to help me out! We had a couple beers afterwards so all was good:)
Now I am going to hang out this week on Oahu and take in the beaches and golf courses. I will try and see if I can get a ‘real’ tan and try not to burn too badly in places that haven’t seen the sun in a long long time! ha ha But mostly I am going to work on my game and get it ready for the next Monday qualifier at KoOlina.
I hope everyone is well! Thank you for all your well wishes and emails of support! I will keep battling it out on the course and I know this year will be good…just have to get my foot in the door as they say!
Take care and talk to you all again soon!

Hello to everyone! I hope that you are all doing great and getting ready to enjoy a fabulous 2008!
I had a wonderful Christmas with my family here in Phoenix. It was quite quiet for us but perfect! We watched movies, chatted, ate, and of course relaxed and hung out! My family is the best…of course I might be slightly biased!!:)
As far as my status goes for this year, I will not be fully exempt on the LPGA. But I will be totally dedicating myself to improving my game and getting back to winning status! I will be doing Monday qualifiers, as well as writing to some tournaments for some sponsor exemptions…so if you have any pull, please tell those tournament sponsors that I want to come and play(and win)their event! Thanks!
Life in general is always good! I have still been keeping up with working out and running. I figure that if I can run 4 to 5 times a week for 4-5 miles each time, then I am able to enjoy the foods–and wine–, that I love! Plus I feel great after a good workout and have way more energy!
I am going through some club changes–I will keep you posted when I know more. I am trying out some Callaway and Ping irons. The Callaway woods are already making a pretty good fight to stay in the bag–very consistent! As always, I love my putter:) Also, I am sorry that my website is not up to date on the stats. I am working on that, but my tech abilities are seeming to slow me down a bit. Working on that though so I hope to have it all up there in the coming weeks!
For now, that is all. I am looking forward to this year being a great one for all of us! Thank you all for being fans and I do hope that one day I can meet all of you!
Talk to you soon, Luv AJ

Hello everyone!
I am sure you are all wondering what I have been up to—or rather what I am going to do?? Not to worry. I know I will have some sort of status for next year, just not sure what it is exactly yet. But just in case, I am heading to Q-School at the end of November to improve that status.
In the mean time, I am working lots on the mental side of the game. Reading lots of good golf books, as well as motivational books. My favorite one right now is ‘The Secret’. Try it, I know you will love it too! “Just think it and it will happen”—the power of attraction! Get the book or watch the movie and you will understand:)
I am also traveling lots and keeping busy. Just recently, I took a trip to Corning, NY, to have some good time with friends. We went to a great ECHL hockey game of the Elmira Jackals–which they won. And we played some golf at the country club. Let me tell you that fall was in season there and the leaves were beautiful. Trees were green, yellow, red, orange, and even brown. Breathtaking!!
Now, I am in Las Vegas right. Working with my coach and getting the skills tuned up. Things are going well and I am looking forward to putting them into test mode next week. I will be heading to Tampa, FL, for a small tourney against other tour players. My partner is Merideth Duncan, so I know I will have fun as well as kick some butt!
I have also been working on getting in to good shape. Running more and doing some ‘watching’ of what I am eating. Kinda like a diet I suppose but the Weight Watchers theory where you eat sensibly without really having to give much up…just control portion sizes:) Harder to do than to say though I know!! ha ha
That is about all for now to report! I hope that everyone is healthy and happy this fall!
Please keep in touch and thanks for visiting my website!
Love, AJ

Hello and happy Labor Day to everyone!
The summer is almost over and I think all those in Phoenix are happy about that! I am heading back to my home there in just over a week and I am very excited about it! Hopefully my things are not all dried up in my house. I haven’t been home in over 2 months so I hope things are still there too—good thing I don’t have real plants eh?? ha ha
I am off to NW Arkansas for next weeks event. It is a new tournament so we are all excited to see what they have to offer there. I am sure they will treat all us ladies with the warmest of hospitality!
Springfield, Il, and Portland, Or, were a great deal of fun. Of course, Portland is always fun! Mom and dad came down and enjoyed seeing everyone. Friends of mom’s came down to watch, and also took home half of Target and the outlet malls with them! Yes you know who you are!:)
The game is still going well and I am looking forward to this event. I had a couple too many missed shots this last week so I will have to do without those. I just have to be patient and let it come! Short and sweet are the swing thoughts. Think of those for thoughts for me while you are crossing your fingers! I am trying to pass that million dollar mark this week, and every little bit of thought, pray, and luck will help!
Have fun and be safe this week, and every week! Keep your head still and believe in yourself! Those are the good thoughts for the week!
Thanks for checking in with me!

Hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying the summer weather and playing lots and lots of golf! Of course, I know you have not been glued to your tv sets because I haven’t been playing in a tournament for over a month now! So your own games should be in tip top shape:) Time to relax for a bit now though as I have 4 events in a row. Of course, starting in Canada! YAAA! Well, ok, I have been at my parents house for the past 3 weeks and have been enjoying my time in Canada already. Lots of golf, relaxing, and fun times for me!
We are in Edmonton, Alberta, and it is a beautiful course–just perfect really! Royal Mayfair G&CC. The weather is getting better too so I am really excited for this week:)
Continue to keep all your fingers, toes, arms, hairs, feet, etc… crossed please!!!
Hope you are all well! Talk again soon! With all good results:))

Hello everyone!
Sorry that I haven’t written in so long–I have been on vacation and that is the only excuse I have! Pretty good one though I would think!!
I had a great time in Toledo although I didn’t make the cut. It was my birthday so I always have fun during that week! Went for a great birthday dinner, which I will submit a picture of in the near future. Fun with friends and some good wine!:)
I am at home in Canada with mom and dad right now and it is lots of fun. Hot as usual, but beautiful! Lots of golf and relaxing..perfect summer vacation! Going to visit my brother in Vancouver next week also, so that should be fun!
I will be starting again in Edmonton, AB, for the CN Canadian Women’s Open. Nice to be able to start in Canada again and with the crowds behind me:) Love the home crowds—sorry everyone else:) That is ok though because I have a good feeling about that week and I am practicing hard in order play well! Keep your fingers crossed–it all helps!!
Hopefully everyone else is having a great summer and having fun! Keep in touch and let me know any great stories that I can share on my website.
Love you all, AJ

Hello everyone!! (no I didn’t forget to write!! Just been busy!)
Last week was a lot of fun but I have to admit that I was very nervous being in one of the last couple of groups. Great experience though and I hope to continue on with the higher finishes!
The Open has been fun so far and very HOT! Lots of humidity in the air along with the sun—makes AJ sweat a lot. Yuck! Then throw in some thunder and lightening and you have quite a show!
The first round was interupted by some stormy weather as we got to sit in the clubhouse for 3 hours. The USGA updated us every 30 minutes–only to tell us to keep waiting. Fun times!
I played very solid the first day though and was extremely pleased with the results of even par. But of course the early morning did not seem to go as smoothly. Opps! I played hard yesterday in the second round and managed to hold it together–finished with a birdie! yaa!
Now it is the waiting game. Watching the internet/scores and see where I fair. I am sure many of you are doing the same thing! Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers for me:) I can hear them all!
For now, my mom and I are relaxing and watching Wimbledon. Love to watch tennis and it is a great show so far!
I will update you when I know more but for now thanks for checking on me!
Have a great weekend!

Happy Summer everyone!
I know the weather is finally getting hot and you are thinking about putting that bathing suit on! What a fun time eh?? NOT! OH well, everyone has to do it so don’t worry! My tan lines are so bad though that I think I am just going to stay away from the bathing suit until the darkness comes and I can sit in the hot tub:)
Any way, back to golf. I am in Rochester, NY right now and it is fun so far! A bit breezy but that is ok as it keeps it a bit cooler:)
I am really looking forward to the tournament as my game is at a point now where I am really starting to feel like my old self again. I had my reminder this week that I really need to visualize my shots more and see the perfect shot in my mind before I hit. Trust me, this really does work, and helps a great deal!
Hope everyone is still having fun with their golf games and such as well. I will write again soon as I get ready for the US Women’s Open next week. My mom is coming to watch so that will be lots of fun too!! Poor dad has to stay at home, but I am sure he will be watching the computer and tv like a hawk!:)
Take care and have some fun! Love AJ

Hello everyone!
Just wanted to let you all know that I qualified on Monday for the Women’s US Open! Yes it was quite exciting, not to mention tiring!
I shot a 2-under 70 the first round and then moved on to a 4-under 67 for the second round! It was a lot of fun and I played a lot of smart golf. I hit a lot of 3-woods off of tees as I was having some problems with the driver. I guess even us pros can use a little common sense now and then eh?? ha ha
Any way, I am enjoying a week off right now in Phoenix at my house. I love my bed and and also my couch, although I haven’t seen nearly enough of them yet:) I am all caught up on my paper work now though so I can do some good bonding time with my couch now and watch the men’s US Open. Should be fun!
Off I go now, just wanted to let you all know the good news! Thanks for checking on me and good luck yourselves!!
Talk to you all soon! Remember I am back in Rochester, NY, next week so you still have to keep everything crossed–it is beginning to work!!
Thanks, Love AJ
