Summer is Here!
June 26th, 2009
Hello everyone!
Don’t you just love summer!?! I do! With the weather being quite hot in Phoenix right now, I am going to head up to Canada shortly! Don’t get me wrong, I love the sun in AZ, but nothing can beat the summer in Penticton:) Plus, I get to hang out with my friends and family there, and have mom’s great cooking!
Before I get home though, I have a couple stops on the East Coast of Canada. I am going to caddie in the Nationwide event up in Ontario. It is Gretzky’s event, thus he gave Grant Fuhr an exemption, and I get the pleasure of lugging the big bag around the hills! Should be a great time and I know he will play fantastic–he keeps taking my money right now so I am certain he will keep it up and take their money too! After that event, I am going to play in the CN Tour event in Mirabel, Québec. It is a 2 day event. I am looking forward to getting back in to the competition mode now!
Life is ever changing for me, and I am no longer working for WebPT. Unfortunately, they wanted me in the office more, and it is just too tough to do that and be on a golf course at the same time. I am talented but still haven’t found a way to split myself in 2 yet:) I truly enjoyed working for them though and know that the company will continue to be a success!
I have traveled quite a bit the last month or so and have enjoyed spending time with many friends along the way. I have updated my photos so that you can see some of my friends and where I went! Besides stopping at LPGA events in Corning, and Springfield, I also went to South Carolina. I got to watch their ECHL hockey team play for the Championship. Good times with Rick, Mel, and Mary-Ann. Another great trip was to Napa with my friend Sonya. It was her Mother’s Day present from her family and I was lucky enough to join!! Thank you Pards!! My last adventure was to Rochester, NY, and it was fun…once I got there. I ended up sleeping in the Chicago airport on Friday night because of weather issues. It was good for people watching but the benchs were not that comfy:) My friends and family helped me out though and thank goodness I arrived safely the next day!
I hope you are all doing great and hitting it well. My game is coming along and I am really starting to hit it well. Now all I need to do is make all the putts like I am used to!
Keep in touch and let me know if there are ever any questions you have for me. All the best for a safe and happy summer!
Love, AJ

Hey AJ, Life has a way of keeping us on our toes huh? I heard you ended up leaving and this blog only confirms it. Well, next time you’re in AZ I owe you a beer.

Hello AJ,
I had noticed you were schedluled to give an all jr girls clinic at Inkameep last Thursday. My daughter is interested if you are holding any other jr clinics in the OK valley in August?
Regards,

We sure miss seeing you on tour. Can remember when you used to practice in Osoyoos with Dean.
Good luck in the open.
