It has been too long!!!
Hello there! Yes I know I have not kept up my end of the bargain with my website. I guess I was taking a break from all things surrounding my golfing decisions. After q-school, I was very disappointed in myself and my game. Unfortunately during q-school, I got too angry at myself and my caddie and I let it get to me. That can never be a good thing! I have now had a couple months to think it over and I am enjoying building on a great year this year, and not taking myself too seriously…especially on the golf course!
I have been playing lots of rounds with friends–but nothing too serious. There were a couple pro-ams, but that is what I love to do…golf and entertain! If there are any of you out there that need an entertaining lady pro to hassle you on the course…be sure to give me a shout:)
I will be playing in some LPGA tournaments this year, but as of right now I am not sure what those are. Because of the economy struggles there are a few tournaments not on the list this year. I do want to thank all those sponsors that are still with the LPGA and supporting our tour in these tough times! We all enjoying competing for that top prize and are thankful that we still have some of those opportunities left!
If I were to guess, I may get in an event or 2 in Mexico and then perhaps a few as I will be doing Monday qualifying. For sure I will be vying for a spot in the CN Canadian Woman’s Open as it is in Calgary! (my birth place)
I am also exploring some other job opportunities to keep me busy and out of trouble. I took a course so that I am now an official ‘Bartender’…yes, I know that it involves the other side of the bar, silly!?!? It was a great deal of fun and a good learning experience. Now all I need are a few gigs to practice at so I can get a job.
Some of my other interests are looking in to financial advising with a local company ‘Thomson Financial,’ and helping out my friend with his clothing company, ‘NZ Wear.’ It is nice to be keeping busy with life and still being able to golf as much as I want:)
