Michelle Wie
July 20th, 2008
Hello,
I am sure you have all seen the news about Michelle Wie and her getting DQed from the State Farm Classic. It makes me sad for her, as I know she is playing so well and had a great chance to win the tournament. But that is the game of golf at its finest, always playing by the rules. She will always remember to sign her card from now on—very very tough lesson to learn. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed playing the first two rounds with her though. She is a very nice girl and has such potential on the golf course. We had a few good laughs and she showed me in person just how far she can hit it! I will look forward to possibly getting to play with her again at the CN Canadian Women’s Open in Ottawa in August.
As for my schedule for the next couple of weeks, I don’t have too much planned. I am going to visit some friends and family and work hard on my golf game. I will be returning to Penticton, BC, to enjoy my parents company and perhaps even take on a few of the locals for a good game of golf! Always nice to take their money–ha ha:)
Please keep in touch and let me know what you are all up to. I hope you are all safe, healthy, and happy!
Bye for now, love AJ

Sorry things haven’t worked out for you as well as you wish, but remember you can always come to Jackson and beat me!
(after my lesson with Elaine - maybe I can really challenge you!! - NOT)
If you get bored we have a golf outing Labor Day weekend (it’s actually August 31st) We also have everyone (100+ usually) food and a band back at the house later and some people camp in the backyard. Maybe you need some real R & R Michigan Center/Jackson style!!!
Happy Belated Birthday! Not being a very good Fan Club President here if I forgot that now am I?
Keep on your game and things will go your way soon!!
Take care,
Pam

hey, i remember golfing with you when you were Michelle Wie’s age. You tried to take my money then. Remember me telling you that if I actually paid you my losses, you would lose your amateur status? hahaha

Hi AJ:
You mentioned the CN Open in this post. I will be in Ottawa as a Standard Bearer volunteer. Had the pleasure of being your bearer last year in Round 4. Hope the loud Canadian cheer will motivate you and elevate your game! I am looking forward to Ottawa and I wish you the best of luck! Have a great week. I will say hello to you when I see you at the course. Perhaps I will again be assigned to your group for another round of golf! Bob (from Victoria, BC)
