Hello all! The first major of the year for me is here! YAA
I know you are all hoping and praying for me…keep doing it! It all helps and I know this will be a good week for me. So cross your fingers, your toes, your hair, your legs, whatever you can think of!! Prayers help too—my friend Sonya says she prays for me weekly and we all need that:) (Thanks Pards!)
My game is on track and I am really going to focus on my routine this week. Perhaps the last couple of weeks might have ended differently if I had really stuck to my rountine through thick and thin. Sometimes I get going too fast and get out of my routine. Thus not taking time to fully commit to the shot. Not going to be the case this week. I am going to take my time and make the perfect shot!
I am still having fun out here so no worries about that. I do have a week off starting next Tuesday and I am looking forward to that. Atleast I can sit at home on the weekend and enjoy it knowing I don’t have a tournament that I should be playing in!:) Also, I can really watching the men struggle at their US Open Championship!
Next Monday before I head home, I have a US Open qualifier–36 holes. Sounds like fun eh?? It is being played just out of Baltimore, MD. A couple solid rounds will get me through that and I can be playing at Pine Needles CC! I can’t wait. That is where I had a great US Open back in 2000.
OK off I must go to eat and watch the finals of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. So sad that hockey season is almost over. Oh well, need to get into another season so my Canucks can get back on form!
I hope everyone is doing well and having some fun too! I am sure you are all going to enjoy summer and the great family times that it brings! That is my favorite–spending time hanging out with my family and friends–while sipping a glass of wine–out on the deck!
Keep in touch and remember to ‘cross’ everything you can find for me!:) ha ha
Love ya, AJ
