Hello everyone! Long time no talk. I have been golfing my ball and trying to get back at the competitive spirit of things. But of course we all know that it takes some time!
The game is coming around and I am happy to say that I have gone back to my old irons–good ‘ol AJ! The other irons seemed to be a bit too heavy and therefore I was having to work too hard—we can’t have that now can we:) The putter is taking its time to warm up as well, but it is old faithful and I have no doubt that it will show up this week for the ‘home’ tourney here in AZ. The drive for me is about an hour so I will have lots of time to go over the course before I get there and be prepared.
Mom and dad have arrived to be part of my cheering squad so that should be fun! You can always hear mom saying ‘Whoo-hoo!’ out there! Very nice:) And of course, dad will be making his rounds saying HI to everyone and checking out what the Safeway tents have to offer. Good stuff, let me tell you!!
That is about all for now. Off to continue working on the game. If you are here in Phoenix, please come and watch me this week. The tourney starts on Thursday thru Sunday. The course and the weather will be great!
